Community Board

In 2002 the Roxby Downs Council instigated and supported the formation of a Community Board with the expressed purpose of forming an ever evolving community plan. The plan was competed and endorsed in 2003.

Based on the 70 submissions, 130 written responses and hours of discussion and consideration, the Community Board advocated a Community Management structure that would offer the highest possible level of participation and responsibility to the community for the development of its future.

The Community led by the Council developed a modern community management model that was enthusiastically embraced by the wider community

The structure consists of a Community Board, Community Forums and Partnerships, and consists of a Community Board, seven Community Forums and two Community Partnerships.

Follow the prompts from the navigation bar on the left to learn more about the Board, Forums and Partnerships.
