Sports Facilities

The Aquatic and Sport department of Roxby Downs Cultural and Leisure Precinct offers an extensive range of indoor and outdoor recreation activities in a comfortable and modern facility. All recreation activities are catered to females and males of any age suiting all fitness levels!

Activities offered include:

• Netball - Senior and junior levels;
• Basketball- Senior and junior levels;
• Volleyball;
• Badminton;
• Tennis-Senior and junior levels;
• Squash-Social/tournament;
• Hockey-indoor-Senior and junior levels;
• Soccer-indoor/junior outdoors, and;
• Swimming.

If you're new to town or are looking for a way to increase your network, then joining a mixed gendered team will assist you there. Many teams are set up as a social event and a way to increase your fitness amongst friends. It's a great way to socialise with other local Roxby Downs residents! Roxby Downs Cultural and Leisure Centre pride itself in offering high standard indoor and outdoor recreation facilities. Some courts that are of International standard! All facilities consider the need for spectators and accommodate up to 200 spectators at one facility! You sure to be impressed once you have played at Roxby Leisure!

INDOOR

3x squash courts: International standard
2x stadiums: Multiple line marketing covering a range of sports - netball, basketball, hockey, soccer, volleyball, badminton, tennis, and of; International standard

OUTDOOR

2x hard courts netball/tennis: To be used for both netball and tennis
3x lawn courts tennis: synthetic grass
School Oval: cricket nets
Town oval: Flood lite
Male and female change room toilets facilities

ROXBY LEISURE POOLS (swimming pool)

Main Pool:

• 25 metres - 6 lanes
• Water features
• Water slide
• Beach entry to leisure pool
• Depth up to 2.1 metres

Toddler Pool:

• Mini water slide
• Water features (including a mushroom shape fountain)

SEASON

October to April - 7 days a week

KIOSK

The Kiosk is open 7 days a week to cater for those who are using the facilities. Kiosk staff set up sporting equipment specific to each sport. They are all Senior First Aid qualified and ensure all sports are operating smoothly.

The Kiosk is equipped with all items to keep your energy levels UP during the game, including:

• Drinks,
• Ice creams,
• Confectionary,
• Sporting and aquatic merchandise

Note: All sports game fees & pool entry/memberships are payable at the kiosk.
